The GI Institute is an initiative by University of Michigan and FODMAP Friendly.

This program is aimed at providing gastrointestinal health and digestive health education to all health professionals globally. GI Institute is moderated by an advisory panel consisting of expert gastrointestinal (GI) Accredited Dietitians and Gastroenterologists.

Learning Objectives:

To provide evidence-based nutrition education and an in-depth knowledge of irritable bowel syndrome to all health professionals, globally.

Course Assessment:

All course participants will be assessed on course work and will receive a certificate upon completion of the learning modules, questions, and case studies.

• 10 learning modules
• Up to date and evidence-based
• Developed by gastroenterologists & dietitians
• In-depth education on the low FODMAP Diet
• Clinical nutrition interventions to enhance patient outcomes
