Foundations in Herbalism is a comprehensive, advanced training program designed for holistic health professionals who want to deepen their clinical use of herbs. The course is a deep dive into herbal formulation, organ system assessment through an herbal lens, and hands-on herbal medicine making.
Students will explore the history of traditional herbalism through a diagnostic perspective and gain the skills to match herbs to the bio individual physiology of their clients. The curriculum covers how to make and dose a wide variety of herbal preparations, including powders, honeys, teas, herb-infused oils, tinctures (both simple and advanced), vinegars, nourishing infusions, plasters, salves, and poultices.
