Pennsylvania allows dietitians to be licensed by the state. The law also protects the titles of “dietitian,” “registered dietitian,” “licensed dietitian-nutritionist,” and the abbreviations “RD,” and “LDN.”
EXEMPTIONS:
Holistic nutrition professionals may practice in the state of Pennsylvania within their scope of practice. The state does not place limitations on the practice of nutrition.
